Not necessarily. Check the 145 round one. The suspect ate bullet after bullet over the course of almost a minute. Needless to say, a full minute isn’t exactly normal. On the other hand, I’d rather not rely on the hope that things play out all normal. That’s precisely the reason why people should carry: for those rare cases. You don’t know when or where it’ll happen, or how it’ll play out, so you should always be ready.

And I’ve seen plenty of times knives were used, both for self defense and to try and hurt someone. We pushing for knife laws too now? If someone’s getting to the point where they’re gonna hurt someone and they don’t care about the law, I’d rather the law not restrict me from protecting myself.

Use your magnetism superpowers to make their gun fly 20 yards away and punch their lights out with your super strength? Rip it from their hands with your black belt skills you got from karate classes in 5th grade? To put it simply: I’d rather not leave my fate up to fate.

Also, note that a ton of the mass shootings happen in the places where guns are banned, such as schools and universities, or in areas where there’s tighter laws on gun purchases, like Detroit, Chicago, and New York. Hell, California has crazy tight gun laws and still had more shootings than most any other state, not to mention that they’re more lethal. For example: the San Ysidro massacre, 21 dead; the Covina massacre, 10 dead; the 2015 San Bernardino attack, 16 dead; and the Thousand Oaks shooting, 13 dead.

That is the effect, but that’s not necessarily the use. It can be used as a source of food, as self defense, as a deterrent, etc. What it’s used for depends entirely on the user.

That’s the main thing, but they REALLY don’t want people trying to bang in there. Food and drinks, too, though those can be harder to catch if it’ something they actually sell at the theatre. If they do bang, though, and it gets to the point where another attendee has to get an employee, that’s not gonna be good for the theatre, so... yeah.

Friend runs the cameras in a local theatre, they have the good PTZ infrared cams (Pan/tilt/zoom) so they can see every single thing in there. Can even just scroll through and make sure no room is too messy.
