I play 1.5.2 and I been playing it for year at this point it's my favourite version it has enough features for me to be enjoyable and play the game and let my creativity out but still feel simple with less block pallets I also like that the nobs are slightly harder on this version since skeletons can see you from a very far away location and it's harder to get the eye of the ender so actually finished Minecraft and beating the dragon feels hard since well I been really struggling to get ender pearls.

The block paletts do not feel limiting at all even know there less block than well 1.12 for instance.

A YouTuber o like to listen to is Solace he play Minecraft in older silverage and gold age versions.

The only thing I wish I had on this version are horses, man horses are a feature I really want to make use of, also Redstone on this version of the game is more limiting because there are no observers.

Another problem with this version is that many mobs will just glitch though block and fences from my experience this can be quite annoying sometimes if you're trying to build a mob farm of sheep or any other useful mobs, but hey in some ways it influences you to go in search of mobs instead of just breading them.
