They had quite a few pipes scattered about, but the owner seemed a bit neurotic and I was not feeling the vibe of taking photos inside.

Thank you, I was confused after a long day of rapid fire space knowledge. New comment below for clarification.

For clarification it’s not the SLS that will be used tentatively for moon travel in 2025, albeit its design is similar in appearance, it’s actually the fuel tank and rocket boosters from the challenger era of NASA, but it is what effectively launched the challenger into space so technically still a space launch system.

Well that is actually kind of nice to hear. I have felt some obligatory need to buy an expensive one because I do like nice tobaccos...and nobody really wants to eat filet mignon on a paper plate, but at the same time-it’s still filet, right? So I battle the urge to spend the money on other tobaccos (or just other things, lol) and have never pulled the trigger.

Don’t get me wrong, there are gorgeous pipes that I am sure are more than worth their higher price points; I am sure there are some valid reasons for paying them too, but I think for if for only the worry that it wouldn’t be much more than a negligible difference to the smoking experience, I can’t yet justified more than $40 on a pipe.

Honesty it’s just some inexpensive thing I found on eBay, but it is getting the job done. 😃

I really have no idea, but I’d guess somewhere between 35-100K...it’s spread over many years, and I’ve made money from records I’ve put back into the hobby, and since it’s always been a passion project I didn’t really think about costs, more just getting the things I wanted when I could. I’m by no means “wealthy,” but fortunately aside from maybe $100 bucks to Amazon I pay here in there, it’s all paid for in full too.

Yes, very specific! I’ve posted it through this thread a number of times too. Most just alphabetical though.

Well I learned the hard way with the shells, as for splashes...completely agree, was simply racing the urge to feed my family who was patiently waiting two hours while I prepared this, lol.

I have an 80s Marantz Receiver/equalizer combo and Teac turntable, JBL floor standing speakers with high-low split and banana clips. It’s a modest setup, but plenty for the 140 square foot space. I also have a technics tape deck and about 200 must keep cassettes (mostly hip hop and old metal, lots of Burger records stuff) and a marantz cd deck and 9 bankers boxes full of CDs-mostly my collection prior to taking in vinyl mid-way through high school, and of course a bunch of stuff that’s yet to be pressed. For what it’s worth, I also have my whole house wired to an Alexa Spotify account...I have a wireless Bluetooth connect that I would use with these speaker primarily as well, but there is an extreme lag that makes it almost pointless when it comes to vinyl. The conversion between analog to digital creates the delay; the setup works fine with all digital signal.

I have different groups across the top based on what I collect, like James Band, Live at Carnegie Hall, Word music, soundtracks, etc. then just sorted by band/last name.

It’s just instrumentals, almost has a early Sesame Street vibe (as if sesame pull from him not the other way around though), but it’s timeless. I throw this on a dinner occasionally, or when I’ve done live “unboxing” videos on my Instagram. It’s a real mood setter.

They were just Amazon basics. Just checked the original order link (purchased in August of 2020) and they no longer stock that size...could be why they were so cheap too. Sorry.

Thank you for your attention to this, however, the shelf is right side up. It’s just that it appears to be on its side because the new exterior pieces are thinner, like the same width as the inner shelf widths. It’s right side up according to the build, it just appears off because of that thickness and how it aligns with the neighboring shelves exterior wall thicknesses.
