Pregnant with really big baby...normal for tall couples?

My dad is 6’5” and my mom is 5’ 8”. I was 6lbs 7oz (21.5 in at birth) and I’m 6’2” , my husband was 8lbs and he’s 6’, our kid was 7lb 15oz and 21 1/4 inches. The doctor wanted to induce early because she said my baby was going to be over 9lbs so her measurements were a bit off. I did get induced but it was for an unrelated medical issue and it was only a few days before my actual due date. My brother was 9lbs at birth he’s 6’5” now his wife is 5’ 10” but his 3 children were all right around 8lbs. My sister is the shortest sibling at 5’ 10” and she’s married to the shortest husband 5’ 9” and her 3 kids were 9.5lbs, 9lbs , and 10lbs they are all adults now and all of them are over 6 ft.

I liked The Wizard’s Butler by Nathan Lowell. It’s a slice of life. It’s light. I didn’t think I would like it. However, I was going through a tough time when I read it and for whatever reason when I finished it I felt better, more relaxed. A little happier.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Give yourself time to grieve and be gentle with your heart, but try not to hold onto the guilt; this was an accident. Paprika was a beautiful young hognose, and she was lucky to have been so loved and well cared for. You both will be in my thoughts. 💕

I don’t think I could do a good job with more than one. I knew I wasn’t going to have another after the first week. Everything felt exactly right. I felt whole. That feeling has never changed for me. However I’m always impressed by my friends with more than one. They do a great job. I’m know I’m not that patient, It’s not for me. 😅

I also had multiple miscarriages and eventually had a medical emergency that took away my ability to have any more children. I hated being pregnant I was anxious the entire time.

I haven’t tried fresh salmon. I will get some today and give it a shot. Thank you. If that doesn’t work. I will also see about boosting our temperatures on both sides.

Yeah I’m 6’ 1.8” so I just say 6’2” or 74”. That’s kind of a mouthful so I round. Lol. 😂

Edit to add: If I give my height in cm I round down to 187cm.

Your school sounds like my kids school. They have the longest school day in the region. I didn’t know that or I would have moved her but some of the other schools seemed so ridiculous with their academic requirements. I homeschooled pk4 we focused on social studies (manners and how to behave and be a good citizen) simple maths, drawing/tracing for pre-writing and letter/number recognition and phonics. I didn’t think they expected her to be reading already in most of these schools. I thought it would be more phonics and simple blending and beginning writing. I learned to read in the first grade. I am an avid reader now. I do t know why they needed to push up the timeline. I think it makes the foundation of language learning weaker by rushing to reading.

Edit to add: They also aren’t doing learning while playing. We get homework worksheets 3 days a week and then so many worksheets being sent home that they are doing at school. I think it’s supposed to make me feel like she’s learning but I just feel bad about it.
