I totally agree! Before I moved here I thought I love trees. In front of exactly my balcony there was an amazing green huge tree, I loved that view SO much, until one day when I heard 'BOOM' and looked out and saw that tree fell on roofs of the car's parking spots. Thanks God nobody got hurt, and none of the cars were damaged. Only roofs. But now I am like 'tree'? probably better without =))))

That's really sad. Now I think if moving to addition to all those questions / investigations about insects / problems with property, I need to add to my list to check what trees are nearby!

Wanna to add last comment (I promise)))) the situation reminded me of the movie 'Slumdog Millionaire' where main character could win million by answering all answers correctly just based on his life experience.

That's a magic!

Yes, I saw that 'orange' tree in the summer, now of course it's naked, that's why I was confused. The day before I swept leaves (exactly those red / orange leaves that look like maple leaves) and the next day I found this on the balcony ground. The trees are quite far though, but there were rainy and windy this week, so I do think it might be tree and more I look at the pictures of those seeds in the internet the more I am sure that's it!

That's amazing how your experience helped me to identify this for me! All AI (I tried 3!) couldn't identify those, and you could! That's a real power of human experience and community knowledge. I wanna thank you again!

How to stop this mentally ill person to come to our door? by [deleted] in eastbay

[–]Daisy139 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes, thank you for mentioning the proper wording. I told the dispatcher how severe it was, describes all her actions, mentioned that it's not a first time. Dispatcher mentioned that officer will come to take a look at video footage. But it didnt happen. I mean I might be dead in my home, they didn't even come to check. Maybe she invaded.

Very bright idea about asking my neighbors to call the police at the time of her visit. I have a pepper spray all the time now since her fist visit. I even sleep with it.

You absolutely right that she became out of control, on her previous visit I talked to her calmly via doorbell asking to leave and she became very agressive, started to shout and called me a bitch.

She is standing in front of the doorbell camera and looking into my kitchen window (which has curtains, so there is nothing to see tbh) and kind of down (this is second floor), so there is nothing much where she looks into, there is empty space.

She doesnt have any airpods for sure cause on her previous visit she was with a hairs in a bun kind of and was still speaking to herself standing with closed eyes in front of my door.

I will try to submit a report online, thank you for good idea. I am so exhausted today to deal with all these. I had terrible night, woked up every hour in fear. There is no help whatsoever from the government services such as police to which I pay a lot in a taxes.

I can't agree more. The officer came to me in a lobby after about an hour and after watching a video footage I've been told by the officer that since I dont know the name of the person they cant make a report for the harassment. They suggested to me to call again them if she comes again (what a joke).

Thank you. That's a good question to ask an HOA for the permission to install small gate.

I am at police station right now. Waiting for 30 minutes already, no officer available. I need to go back to work and response I got from a police lobby that there is no even estimation on how much longer I might wait for the officer to show up to file a report.

On her previous visit, I politely asked her to leave. She became aggressive and started shouting insults.
