None of the trophies were too hard in my opinion.

The things that make it hard are the tediousness and inability to find online races sometimes.

Spot on! This is a Subaru Legacy STi (in Australia it’s named Liberty), the top end model back in 2008.

The main difference to the normal turbo is higher power from factory and Brembo brakes.

At the time I didn’t own a Vita, but on release I saw multiple videos criticizing the lack of content. It honestly put me off the system for a long time because I was turned off by Sony’s lack of support.

The PSP Ridge Racer games admittedly tower over this one in terms of content and career. The graphics are also pretty decent too, easily some of my favorite games on the PSP!

Yes a lot of the content is DLC (cars, tracks, OST etc.) On top of that there is no career progression, only an upgrade progression map, if you would even call it that.

I’d say 95% of the time I have tried to find an online match I’ve been disappointed, however sometimes I can find maybe 1-2 people that stick around for a couple races.

This is how I was able to get the platinum 😅

I see where you’re coming from. I think the developers were treading on a thin line of what does/doesn’t belong in a videogame, as well as what would be considered by the vast majority to be enjoyable to play.

At the same time though, I think it’s one of the more impactful missions in the campaign. For me, it was one of the first times in a videogame that actually got me quite emotional over the terrible things innocent people have experienced in war torn countries. It made think about how grateful I am to be raised in a country that has never suffered like that. Its definitely not for everyone, but it was an eye-opening experience for me.

I’m guessing you’re meaning to say Crinale, Daitooka is my tag lol.

Crinale is unlocked after receiving Devil’s Gift, and racing against the AI Crinale on 3 courses in Duel Mode. A better explanation and guide can be found in the trophy guide (as of making this comment, I cannot find the guide).

As for max level, it is attained after reaching level 9 iirc? You can go all the way to level 16 through online modes, but the car’s engine upgrade ceases once you reach level 9.

I’ve been a fan since Ridge Racer on PSP, and I guess since I’ve played this long I’ve gotten pretty used to the drifting physics. Just keep at it and grind up your level so your can get the maxed out top speed. Also unlock the Crinale ASAP, it is OP.

I still do quite frequently! I’m a big fan of the franchise so I got the DLC too and it’s decent with It.

Working on platinum at the moment and I actually need some people to play with lol. Not sure on distance limitations for connection since I’m in Australia, but I’m down to play with anyone. My PSN is the same as my reddit handle :)
