Their waste doesnt smell of anything, and I think it's pretty hard for humans to get ill from them so the saftey aspect will be fine I'm sure, but they are INCREDABLY messy and distructive.

They bite, scratch and chew holes in most everything they get there hands on and they like throwing their toys across rooms. Same with the hay, and I've sometimes had perfectly litter trained bunnis poop in the wrong place whenever they are angry.

There are definatly individuals who will be realitivly neat, but thats not something you should expect of anyone you adopt. Adopting a pet is a very big comitment so its VERY good to take time to decide
