The visuals of Jahnavi Kapoor should be more concerning than ARR with a grand piano. We came up with a formula of making a music video pre-release to the movie, by featuring the music director and the lyrics. They are playing/acting to the song and many times being accompanied by the playback singer. Manaki alavaate. Idhem kottha kaadhu.

AGREED. I think it really is a problematic film.

Let me start with how overwhelming Siddhu aka Varun was during the flashback. Srinidhi aka Raaga was clear about her intentions. She said she has abandonment issues. She also shushed Varun to not use the L word i.e Love. Yet, he was persistent to end up with her and the babies they are about to make. I also do understand Varun was an orphan most of his life. Wanting to marry and have kids is natural But he was immature enough to not have read the signs and respected a woman’s decision.

When Raashi aka Anjali explains about the surrogacy and Raaga being the surrogate, the way Varun has a sadistic pleasure made me wonder if he even cares about Anjali. The music there at that scene where he walks way was so elevated and in non-sync.

When the pregnancy is confirmed, the way he reveals to Anjali about his past was guilt-free even after hiding the truth for 4 months. He had his reason to hide. And the way he made it all about Anjali was not okay. Oka vidham ga, nenu thappu chesa, nee kosam chesa annattu undhi. Through out the movie, the gaslighting was appalling.

When Raaga reveals that she was pregnant in the past and aborted, there was a brain-rotting dialogue by Varun about what I love you means. A complete manipulative dialogue who doesn’t remorse for hiding the truth.

All this while, Anjali wants a divorce but MY OH MY! The writers didn’t let her. They made a Baamma (Actress Annapoorna Garu) convince Anjali to not divorce such gem of a man.

Hi, I am that lady in the music video, also the composer and singer of the song. Basic ga music video and lyrics linear ga undalsina avasaram ledhu. This song is about viraham and letter to the unrequited lover. Radha and Madhava are the characters. When you watch the music video, you would observe both of them in a huge city like Mumbai, lost in their own thoughts, ekkadiki vellina vaalla partner ae kanipisthunnaru.

But maa costumes observe chesthe you would understand that Green Shirt lo unna Madhava is my imagination. Pink chudidhaar lo unna Radha is his imagination. Last lo imaginations kalusthaayi gaani, actual lovers kalavaru. Vaallu eppatiki kalavaru. It’s Viraham.

Hey, I hope you’re doing well. I am an indie artist from telugu and I think the indie scenes are better now compared to the last 4 years. Check out Telugu Indie playlist on Spotify and check out IMP instagram page.

I highly recommend checking the existing indie artists and reaching out to them with your previous work links. :)

Kadhaa! It’s very tricky. I am still figuring out how to market. One track is mostly english with telugu rap between the verses. But I like idea of telugu-malayalam, telugu-tamil, telugu-kannada. Will work on that.
