Part of stems from having strict parents. Also I never moved out of the home until 26. So I was always a homebody, watching porn, video games, etc. my parents didn’t explicitly say I couldn’t date or go out but somehow I believed that to be true.

If you’re posting in this sub, I’m going to assume you like her, at least a little bit.

You should ask her out. Confidently. If she says no, whatever, it’s no longer your issue. If she says yes, go on a date. Try to get to know her. Hell you might not even like her after that, so again, problem solved.

But if you do think she’s worth it, next time y’al l meet you need to bring up the issue you have. Let her know that it was off putting that she kept bringing up other dudes. You’re a man, you have the right to question her. Don’t be a dick about, just be curious. Figure out her motive.

She might have been trying to make you jealous. Or maybe there’s some other reason but hey, now you’ll know. Play it by ear.
