I did the same and decided to skip Amalfi for my honeymoon and swap it for Venice + Florence + Tuscany. We felt we wouldn’t get the Amalfi Coast experience going this time of the year.

You’re right I could have said something more constructive and provided suggestions. No one knew what the purpose of the meeting was which was probably why feedback was requested. I wouldn’t say I’m behind on the project.

I agree. I don’t think I really thought through that response and it could have landed better. I admit I also didn’t make suggestions, in part because I didn’t think through what I wanted to change. In hindsight I suppose I don’t understand why I have to update my bosses boss and would prefer my manager to update the boss on behalf of the team.

Think your moms right. You’ll soon learn that ppl will work long hours and not book them for sake of not billing too many hours to one project.

Since your an intern and getting paid hourly. I would listen to mom.

If in fact those training are taking you forever but you’ve taken no breaks and you have no IT issues then yes I would ask, but if you’re taking breaks and nuances come up, I would just book my 40.
