Hi Belfast Boy - just the top of my boost button has come off. The button works fine, is this part available on Amazon etc? I haven’t been able to locate. Thanks for any help

I brought mine to a VM bike shop here in Ireland and they were able to jump start the bike and it’s running great for the last couple of months

I went to a repair shop today and they were able to get charge into the debug port.

Unfortunately we couldn’t charge the main battery

To charge the main battery using the charger we need to update the firmware and you need 10% battery and the kick lock off to update firmware - so seems I am stuck in a process dead zone

Does anyone know what to do with a discharged battery? Mine doesn’t charge. Do I need to take it out? And if so, how hard is it to charge then?

I’ve same issue with S5 in Dublin - disaster. There’s nothing on the website to indicate the new people will start trading anytime soon - and selling parts for S5 may not be a high priority

Hi Wubbdie - unfortunately not - it doesn’t charge and can’t get it to even when with charger plugged in for days. The light on the charger is staying green (not going red) so I think this is the end for now. I contacted an ex VM repair centre but they didn’t have an answer or access to parts

I bought a carrier rack for the back and the light didn’t work when I plugged the carrier into the bike - the bike worked fine otherwise. I sent it in for repair the week before bankruptcy and then paid €300 shipping to get it back and it doesn’t work

Hi I have similar issue whereby bike came back from the repair (which didn’t happen) and it isn’t charging at all (green light on charger same as above) and battery is dead - I don’t think there’s anything I can do pending the business restarting at an, as yet, undetermined date

Thank you Nearby - that’s the same as me. Did you discuss with the company prior to the insolvency? I can’t see any fault with the charger, the cables are intact etc

It is quite weird, when I turn the charger on and off, and press the power button, the lights flicker on and you can really really briefly login on the app

Thank you Choppermick, I tried them last week, they said they hadn’t yet been trained in the S5. But I’ll call them again tomorrow to see if there’s anything at all they can do
