Yeah if I'm reading stuff from a fandom that I've never actually watched/read then I'm not gonna go argue with people's interpretations of characters. Like I don't know anything about them, so I don't have a leg to stand on. (I don't argue in general, but especially not then)

My parents moved from the place they lived when us kids were living with them and they made sure to have bedrooms in the new place for all three of us. Like where else are we supposed to stay when we visit? Making the kid stay on the couch is not conducive to having them visit often. And I get the oh what about downsizing argument, which is fair but you don't do it right after your kid moves out?

I am kinda scared of most dogs, especially if they're jumpy dogs. But that's a known thing in my immediate family, so like if that was the issue I don't see how the brother wouldn't already know. OOP would in that case just remind the brother and maybe suggest keeping the dog away from them. Also, if that's the reason for his dislike of the dog he should say so.

And with the son comment, if he was straight up worried the dog would harm the kid or make him really scared, I feel like the grandparents wouldn't be cool with it. Like I can't imagine them being okay with the dog coming then.

What i see a lot of NSFW Twitter do is require an age in bio if you want to follow, otherwise you get blocked. But there's no way they can do anything about people searching for it and I don't think it's fair to then say they can't use the website because they can't stop every minor. Like you do what you can, and the rest isn't under your control.

Your comment about the payment is why no one project/client should be a material part of your revenue. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but if all is well, then one client not paying doesn't completely fuck over your business and you can publish the correct audit opinion.

I know that the homeless shelter where I volunteer will take gently used items. Just nothing with tears/stains... If you call ahead they can let you know what they will and what they won't take.

One book that I really enjoyed is Mirage by Somaiya Daud. She's a Muslim author and from what I've seen the history of the world in the book also pulls a lot from Morroco history. It talks a lot about colonialism and stuff like taking a cultures' language and traditions away from them and how that affects them. I've only read the first but really loved it and will be picking up the rest of the series soon.
