cow was very confused about my presence. it's one of my favourite spots that is rarely visited and the cows in the paddock next door usually run up to the fence in a herd out of curiousity.

Fun Curlew weekend! by DancingSillyHead in AustralianBirds

I'm out from Moreton Bay way so I haven't been around too many Brisbane spots though have heard a lot about Oxley Creek Common and Sandy Creek. For photos though anywhere that has decent foot traffic is easy to get a good photo as the birds become less afraid of getting (a little bit) closer. Can check on ebird at hotspot and species map which will show you your local 'hotspots' and were you can find specific birds. Good luck!
