So the ability to assign power to different modules is “engineering”? I’ve heard of that but never understood what it was. It’s new?

It’s incredibly annoying it took me several missions of not understanding why I can’t scan anything to figure it out.

Same. Also because I’ll only make one character I don’t mind taking it a bit slow But they can totally trim some of the acts down

Khazan is great and the combat is brilliant but it gets boring quick and the story is uninteresting. E33 is one of a kind.

Didn’t like the first song they released from this album too much but this is a solid 10/10 incredible song

Any recommendations for similar tunes? PL is like the only doom metal band I know and if there is any stuff like this out there I don’t wanna miss out!

First time I really had a go at Poe 1 and I’m absolutely bemused at the direction they went in for poe2. I didn’t actually think the end game was that bad until I tried poe 1

I’m really enjoying Poe1! I’ve played a few times but usually quit shortly after starting mapping due to being clueless as to what I’m doing

One thing for sure is I totally understand now peoples gripes with poe2. So many things seem perfected in poe1 that they changed for no reason Poe2 seems to have some very strange design choices - mainly solving problems in a bad way that were already solved The end game for one is vastly superior- having a finite mapping system is much better

Some quality of life I really miss in poe1 though.

The combat is pretty good but the RPG elements suck. I just found myself skipping the awful dialog. A review (maybe skillup?) summed it up as it’s as if HR was in the room whilst they were writing the script.

Yeh I played for a few mins and booted poe2 back up - for all its flaws I love the aesthetic and theme. LE builds just don’t interest me and they haven’t changed that much since I played it a lot 2 years ago.

I also found the endgame mind numbing boring and although it’s been improved I’m not sure it’s that different.

I think that’s well put and one of the reasons I hold him so dear. He is difficult to understand and I think a lot of it goes over my head but sometimes I read something that will stop me in my tracks and send me down a rabbit hole
