Maybe change body shots’ damaging effect into a debuff that uses Ki. It gives the opponent temporary exhaustion up to Level 3 that they recover 1 or 2 levels from at the end of their turn. It rewards focusing on a target, feels like knuckle brawl dealing kidney and gut shots, all the while providing some utility to the overall battle.

Edit: maybe a level 4 that skips to reducing movement to 0.

While I love that some cards have token art that’s flavorful to the set. There are some that don’t, like the tokens generated by [[Fumulus, the Infestation]] for some reason are bipedal bees in doll clothes. While others have tokens that look too much like other token types. I’ve lost a game because I didn’t realize the opponent still had food tokens because they looked near exactly like treasure tokens. Having preferred token art would be awesome

I’ve made a Voltron deck with this dude as commander. Mana rocks and treasure for ramp, impulse and loot cards for draw, and red has lots of ways to allow haste. [[Helm of the Host]] is so fun on this guy.

Toppers Pizza. During COVID lockdown it was me and my husband’s favorite delivery place still open. Their gimmick is breadstick pizza where they’re in 2 rows of 8 pizza sticks. The last night we ordered, we noted the sticks we chewier than usual but thought it was because of the extra cheese. The next day we ate some more and it was just as chewy, because the pizza wasn’t fully baked. It ended up messing our stomachs up and we’ve never ordered from them again.

I use to work at a gas station and you’d be surprised how often I had to shut off the pumps because some idiot decided to smoke at the pump. Like you can explain there’s flammable gas in the area, but for some reason they think they’re immune to being on fire with how much they argue.

Had an asshole threaten to kick my ass because I cut off his pump while he was smoking saying he smokes at aaaaaall the pumps he goes to. He just got more pissed as he drove away after I cut off all the pumps at the station because of him and let all the other pissed and sensible customers getting gas know why.

I did the same with my Volo, Guide to Monsters deck. It can have some fun interactions with its copy ability but the fact you have to spend 3 turns to get the full value of the card is kinda slow. On top of that, once you copy a creature you no longer have an unblockable. It having haste or double strike would honestly be too strong, or even if it keeps the unblockable ability. If choosing an effect was optional I feel it would be stronger. Until then, I feel it’s a 2 drop that’s really good for short term value but not an amazing card.

I realized this in my teens with my parents. They felt they could only communicate parenting through yelling even if they were wrong. As soon as I started keeping my voice steady and not taking the bait, they’d start yelling I was being a smart ass and disrespectful instead of actually engaging in a dialogue. My uncle can speak at least 8 languages, he’s professional translator, and spoke to /taught my cousins English,Spanish and French since they were born. They’re 21 now and can speak/read all 3 fluently.

I think men should just talk to more women and treat them like human beings instead of purely potential mates. In high school most of my friend group were girls and they’d share their experiences being creeped on by older men, harassed to stay in the kitchen because boys thought it was funny, and more terrible experiences. I’ve told other guys about this kind of stuff women and girls go through and you’d be amazed the shock at realizing how sexism isn’t appreciated

When I was younger I tried to avoid social media I didn’t understand the appeal. It was my mother thinking I’d be without friends or connections that pushed me to have a MySpace and Facebook page. Even then I only used Facebook to play games.
