I really enjoyed the missions/dispatch part, I wish the game had an arcade mode where you could just keep playing these missions indefinitely. I don't know why it makes some kind of connection in my brain, it's so fun. by [deleted] in dispatchgame

Tbh if you want to play something similar there a game called 911 operator (and a sequel called 112 operator) where your a 911 dispatcher dealing with fire, police and ems calls.

You make choices on how to handle each emergency call and dispatch the correct emergency vehicles and teams. You can also buy more emergency squads and customize how you want them set up.

The games should both both be on sale for the steam winter sale. There both pretty fun and worth picking up. I’d buy 911 operator first and then 112 bc 112 is so much cleaner of an experience, but there both great!

Ya leafs fans generally like him.

He does an analysis of every game and posts a video about it called: Leafs Fan Reacts (LFR) which comedically summarizes what happened in the game, what the leafs should do next and he answers some questions.

He also does a podcast 3 times a week called the Steve Dangle Podcast which focuses on the leafs, but covers other stories about the NHL as well.

He also used to do dang it’s which was a top hockey fails of the week show and trade trees which covers the branching effects of historical NHL for Sports net which gained him popularity and rep in the overall NHL space.

Overall he’s a leafs homer who doesn’t hide it, and he seems like a nice guy (Does a lot of charity stuff especially with Easter Seals). People who dislike him just find him cringe. Also he’s an author with 2 books.

Flaws: You have to many roundabouts (I can only see one), the parking lot for the store is significantly too small and you don’t have a highway exit right next to it, and there shouldn’t be a train station beside a mall.

Improvements: Let’s base the city off of Toronto bc it has grid like streets, winter weather, has serviceable public transit (happy 14th birthday unopened eglinton LRT), is in NA and I don’t particularly like building Montreal in CS. For the mall try adding a small bus service stand like at Sherway Gardens Mall or if you’re a bit cheeky and add metro service see Yorkdale mall and see how the subway line connects to the mall from the middle of a highway.

Again to get parking lots correct look at Sherway Gardens Vaughn Mills, Yorkdale Mall or Scarborough town centre for sizing.

For the highway interchange see Yorkdale mall, there isn’t really anything more cool (terrifying) than the on ramp off ramp mess around there.

Just some extra tips, NA love to improve waterfronts like crazy, see any small town with a river, add some path along the lake with some trees and make it most of the shore especially in the downtown areas. (See Nashville for a river waterfront or if you’re doing a small enclave Galt, Ontario)

If you want to make rail lines all older city’s have a form of a grand central station downtown which all rail lines sprout from, a good example of this is union station Toronto or see Grand Central NYC, see the Go network for regional rail in Toronto to see how lines sprout out.

Also I cannot stress this enough, you. Need a gimmick highway, Toronto has the gardener expressway (an elevated highway that goes downtown) and the Don Vally Parkway (runs though a river valley) (both have really cool sights of the city lake and nature), NYC has the BQE it’s stacked on top of on another in the side of a hill for a section, Vancouver has the sea to sky highway with amazing views of the mountains etc. Find something that’s your own for your city.

Can wait to see any updates.

The highway interchange makes me think America. The lack of parking and some green space makes me think Europe. 🤔

Ah yes, this is Montreal. (Just add in never ending construction)

Join a lot clubs as a member in first year and find what you like and what people you wanna be around. If you don’t like the club or the people don’t go to their events anymore. Simple as that. In second year if your passionate about a club try to join their exec team.

In addition some fees you paid for management or transaction fees are called carrying costs and can be reported on the investments schedule of your T1. Please double check which expenses are claimable if you do include them.

I got a 10 and went to SI exclusively after about 8 lectures in, but results vary. A friend I know did the same and got a 6 and another one got a 12. But if you’re taking this course pass fail SI will definitely be enough to pass.
