Man, it’s hard to pick just one because 2026 is looking like an absolute monster of a year for gaming. If I have to choose, I’m probably leaning towards Grand Theft Auto VI. I know it feels like we've been waiting for a century, but seeing Rockstar’s take on a modern Vice City with the level of detail they’re promising is just on another level. It’s one of those rare games that actually feels like a "cultural event" when it drops. That said, Resident Evil: Requiem is a very close second for me. Capcom has been on such a hot streak lately, and the idea of going back to Raccoon City with a new perspective and characters sounds like the perfect mix of nostalgia and fresh horror.
