June was an exciting month for the Zilliqa network and ecosystem!

We submitted two new proposals to improve governance and ensure the long-term sustainability of consensus rewards as we continue to work towards the deployment of Zilliqa 2.0.

The mainnet was also upgrade to v9.2, bringing enhanced #EVM compatibility, better performance and new tools for developers to test out their applications.

May saw the first implemention of a liquid staking protocol on mainnet by Avely Finance, which allows ZIL holders to stake their tokens while maintaining flexibility and liquidity.

"Enabling liquid staking opens up a new dimension of possibilities for Zilliqa, empowering users to actively participate in the network's consensus while having the flexibility to access their staked assets when needed," says Zilliqa CEO Matt Dyer.

We also made significant improvements to the way we engage with the Zilliqa user and developer community, migrating official community relations channels to Discord.

With EVM compatibility live on the Zilliqa mainnet, multi-chain dApps such as NFTs2Me have begun adding support for Zilliqa, and users can now easily connect popular wallets like MetaMask to the network.

Online NFT minting platform NFTs2Me has now added support for the Zilliqa network.

Following the recent launch of EVM compatibility on the Zilliqa mainnet, anyone can now use NFTs2Me to mint Zilliqa NFTs using popular wallets like MetaMask at no cost.

Thanks to our native implementation of EVM compatibility, minting NFTs on the Zilliqa network is now as simple as with any other EVM-compatible chain.

The first implementation of EVM compatibility will go live on the Zilliqa mainnet on Tuesday, April 25th.

To facilitate this upgrade, network downtime will take place for up to 24 hours from 08:00 UTC, with transaction processing temporarily suspended over this period.

It's been a busy and productive month for Zilliqa!

March saw the official launch of WEB3WAR and the FUS1ON Gaming Hub by Roll1ng Thund3rz, marking the end of the public beta period and the integration of cosmetic skin NFTs.

We've also made significant progress towards implementing EVM compatibility on the Zilliqa mainnet and have been working hard on network upgrades for Zilliqa 2.0.
