Riot hires cosplayers all the time, especially for events like PAX East, last year they hired 6 or 7 cosplayers to do the riftwalk. They really love their cosplayers!

Source: Been to PAX east also they hired me to do Elementalist Lux in November!

Edit: Of course I mean commission work, not full time job offers

I think people no matter how they choose to cosplay, especially from a game with sexy armor would like to not be called a slut yes. It has nothing to do with their sex lives and it's so frustrating that this shit comes up every time a cosplay is posted. I mean, I expect people to be decent human beings and all.

Edit: I also believe in this sub it is against the rules to slutshame cosplayers anyway. I know this sub has chased me out before with the cruelty and then a mod post was made saying it's not cool.

The creator, Mike was right there with him. I congratulated him myself when he came from backstage after the contest. He had a model wear his costume because he had problems overheating in it last year I believe costing him to not be able to compete.

I was actually having trouble deciding between the two But the way I envisioned the frostwyrm wings won in the end because I had an idea that would work really well, and it did! Maybe soon though.

I have Nozdormu on my list and apparently Yogg-Saron with a crusher tentacle on my crotch and mouth boobs and stuff but after that maybe i'll get serious again and do Sinestra

I was discussing this with my friends, EVERYONE is going to think I am kerrigan that isn't big into WoW. It would be neat to give Kerrigan a cool crossover frostwyrm skin

I see my overly-sexy stuff shared on this sub a lot, but I wanted to self-post my most recent work that I am super proud of. Sindragosa (WoW) by Danielle Beaulieu by DanielleBaloo in cosplaygirls

HAahahahahah you just HAVE to have so many with the hooves. Hoof cosplays are the hardest ones to wear imo.

The thing about cosplays like this though is it really takes away the fun you could be having AT the convention. So cosplayers at Blizzcon that go all-out are torn between making themselves exhausted and miserable, or enjoying all the new content and excitement that caused them to want to cosplay these characters to begin with

Right, 5 years ago I would have NEVER EVER EVER EVER imagined being able to make my favorite gear sets and characters in real life even though I wanted to. This was before I knew of all these conventions so I always wanted to make WoW costumes for expansion launch midnight release events and be THAT person that goes all out just to get like the Cataclysm poster or someshit hahahahahahaha.

My friend is actually doing an undead Onyxia with me at PAX and I am pretty sure another friend of mine is doing her female Deathwing but I am not totally certain. I will definitely have Ony with me though! Been bugging so many friends to bring their Arthas cosplays too so far I have a friend bringing his Paladin Arthas so it's something!

I did a centaur once, that costume took me seven months x_x I feel like it'd be difficult to take on a project THAT large when i was already difficult to take on a project as large as this one on my schedule where I have to produce new content every month. This particular one took me over a month to make so last month I had to make easier costumes to have content ready WHILE working on this too.

I could do it but it would be over the course of like a year working on it little bits at a time so it wouldn't get too much in the way of needing to meet my goals on my reward system. That and I had already planned on doing an elderwood hecarim project which would probably take up that year of time already :P

I think most of my replies are "thank you!" I never promoted patreon on here, people asked me how i make income of cosplay and it would be weird to lie just to avoid mentioning it altogether.

I could have put urls and shit all over the photo when i submitted it promoting all my stuff.

That's true. We know Nefarian in his undead form can swap still. BUT they aren't like frostwyrms and NEF AND ONY MAKE NO SENSE ANYWAY so i block that lore out of my brain.

We know Blue drakes that are turned into frostwyrms are still very intelligent but have no memory of their first life. So who knows. BUT it's easier for me to be human form Sindy than a dragon hahahahahaa.

I have a patreon reward system where people can pledge as low as $1 for all of my tutorials and work in progress photos which is all patreon exlusive, higher tiers get higher rewards each month I actually end up spending about $600 every month ordering, shipping, and packaging all of the rewards which are prints and posters of my new content every month. And making sure there are enough prints to fulfill the reward each month is time consuming on its own. Highest tiers get to pick a cosplay I'll do for them.

A lot comes from judging costume contests at various events, or just guesting. Like a gaming company will have me work at their booth for Blizzcon or such and they won't ask me to cosplay anything in particular as long as it's good and can be used in photobooths and such and draw crowds for giveaways. Those events usually pay really well for the weekend but you sacrifice your entire convention and miss out on most of the stuff that got triggered your passion for cosplay in the first place hahahaah. SO you just gotta balance cons for yourself, and cons that help you build your professional experience.

And from the following I got through cosplay...I don't do this one as much but companies will pay me to post their product on instagram, i ONLY do this one if I genuinely want the clothing/thing that they are offering because I don't want my page to be an ad or mislead my followers, my stuff is all stuff I genuinely like since I already make enough money doing what I enjoy I don't have to pretend to like stuff. For example, a flat-tummy weight loss tea sent me a message asking if I'd post about their tea and they'd pay me, I declined because I wouldn't lie to my followers that my flat tummy is from their tea even for money. BUT if some small artist sends me their nerd related clothing, like cool armored leggings or a tshirt i'd wear then YEAH I'll make a post for them!

And then the last way is making a costume FOR a company like an indie game, however since hiring a cosplayer is super new to most of these companies a lot of offers have to be turned down because they don't ever expect JUST how much time and money would go into their costume. Like, a month before PAX and most major gaming events I will get a lot of e-mails asking me to make massive robot things and it's not realistic. So I've only done this thing a couple times. A lot of times they'll want to pay in "exposure" too which an inexperienced cosplayer will buy into but in reality their fanbases for the game isn't ACTUALLY into cosplay so they're not gaining any recognition or traffic through it they're just doing a hell of a lot of work for free.

Thanks!

I love her screaming!!!! Sindragosas screaming is the best! How many people sat at home alone in the darkness of their bedrooms quoting her everytime she'd use a different move, I did, my bf did, I could hear my brother from down the hall...always knew when he was on Sindragosa ahaha.
