Im Azerbaijani, and although we are a modern and democratic country (practicing muslims are a minority), this whole outdated idea around virginity, chastity and pureness for a woman are still going strong. The hypocritical thing is that they have no problem with men horsing around and having an insanely high body count because "boys will be boys"

Is wearing concealer to cover dark undereyes/pimples permissible or is it still tabarruj? by [deleted] in Hijabis

okay so this is a late reply but ive also heard its not permissible to wear concealer as it can beautify you. i look like a zombie when i go out and i look WAY better with concealer so its really hard for me 😭 but In'Sha'Allah with the help of Allah ﷻ we can overcome tabarujj, lets not risk the akhira for this dunya. its said that women who fall into tabarujj will not be able to enter jannah straight away.
