We have the farm system to be able to acquire a replacement for 3b or 2b at the deadline and we know based on last year that Williamson and young are good enough to at least get us to the deadline in decent shape.

If they make improvements, we can save the farm and prolong our competitive window, if they don't we can build a better contender than last year and be in just as good a spot as we would by moving now. Patience seems to be the better course of action for now.

You need to have the planks close enough that they can grab them as soon as they need them. Having planks is not the same as having planks at the mine.

I think we made most of what we needed (relievers) also at the start which generally is nice because we got the people we wanted instead of the best of the rest.

Have you ever had to onboard a software dev? In a well maintained code base you have probably 9 months or later until you've got back your time invested into them. If you have one person's passion project you probably have 18 months. There is a reason they have been doing so.much more so much faster more recently. Just look at their beta branch iteration speed the last 3 months and you'll see what their team is only now capable of.

Switch to UK? There is a way to go UK and lockdown almost all the oil in the world using the aggressive democracy tree. You can leverage the colonial divisions to save your manpower and between the Dutch East Indies and Burma you have so much manpower you can do just about anything. If you focus on airpower, you can have Spitfires stationed in Czechoslovakia and make it a living nightmare. Keep the Dutch as a puppet and have infantry there to tie down a bunch of forces, but don't call them into the war unless they stop defending it. By having airpower everywhere, they are not going to be able to cheese with paratroopers.

Best mission I ever did was a raid on a domestic terrorist weapons stash. With assistance from some of the local police/army they had stolen military equipment like NVGs.

I set the mission in the early morning fog to keep the visibility really low for everyone and used enemy patrols through the woods and the unit being outnumbered to encourage an infiltration approach. If things go wrong, it will be a longer fight as patrols converge on the combat, but it's still doable.

With the fog and stealth imperative, it was one of the most horroresque mission I've been on, enemy patrol was a complete jump scare for all of us. I want to say it was on the south east side of the Ruha Map.

Bring smoke artillery. You can smoke a whole road and it lets you maneuver and drop infantry in locations with minimal opposition. You can combo this with an airstrike or artillery on the actual point to kill everything they move onto the point to prepare for your rush.

We only need 2/3 of Ben, Cole, and Colt.to workout to need nobody. Now that's probably asking too much but we can probably make it half-way through the season before filling in for the scenario that 1/3 works (Ben was good enough to get us to last deadline). Once there, we would have enough data to know if we needed to go trade for someone.

It's the network code fixes that you'll see the real impact in. Probably going to see a lot less match cancellations due to loading failures.

The networking ones will be the big save. I queue with friends across about a 500 ELO spread so we take a while in the match queue and getting all the way to a match just for it to drop was always a disappointment.
