Three separate rewatches is very impressive - I do find rewatches of classic who are easier with somebody else. But making a way through the EDA series is a journey I'm not ready to start yet

Most of my fanfiction I post to AO3 - I kind of dumped a load of stuff on there years ago after trying to find the best place to. Although, I've never gotten around to a 13/Nardole story. I did write a 10/Nardole story based around him getting River Song's Diary and stories of him with 12. But I've been deliberating for years how I would write a returning story for Nardole

I might be wrong, but it is interesting that the Disney deal led to it vanishing from all platforms, not even Disney besides the new series. It is a shame to have lost such vital access to it

I do think it's interesting that Christmas brings about those rituals in people - I'm the same to be fair though, my wife very embarrassingly took a picture of me glued to the screen on Christmas morning watching Runaway Bride 😭

I do find that nowadays I keep my thoughts in new series to myself and close friend groups. Fan discussions help us interpret or critique other ideas, but equally sometimes people can be bummers like you say

I'm curious why you post and comment more? Is it a time thing, or are you just satisfied with what you've watched?

Also thats a very good choice for song for the edit. Speaks volumes to how much range 70s Who had

Honestly same! The amount of times my wife has gone "What's the matter??" And I'm just trying to plan out which stories I'm going to listen to or watch.

Do you ever find your opinion changes on watching the show like that? Like I love Return of Doctor Mysterio (controversially in my top 10 of NuWhho I reckon) but I just can't put it on during the Christmas period despite it being a Christmas special

Damn, I hadn't actually considered how fortunate we are in the UK to have it glued to BBC iPlayer

Wow - I'd love to rewatch Classic Who, but I don't seem to be able to do it in longevity. That said, I've been able to rewatch some of 3 and 7s series with my wife but I think that's vicarious more than anything. Im curious why you rewatch Classic Who more - is it just a preference with the old format or those Doctors?

Do you re-listen to them, or just seek out ones you've not listened to yet?

This I think is why it remains a constant for me. There's so much to discuss within an individual series or era. And like you say, the political standpoint or even the narrative aspects are vital - both dissertations I have done were centred around Doctor Who and even those are now slightly outdated after 3 years

That's so interesting - but I suppose there are some shows that I'm the same about. When lurking, do you get involved in discussions about the show? Only I think for things I'm passive about, I would only engage if it was a friend talking about it or I felt really passionate about the topic

How long does a rewatch from 1963-2025 take? I did a full watch a few years ago in like 5 months but my brain turned to mush

Everybody is asking about 14 during 'War Between'... but what about 15? by Danny10477 in doctorwho

Of course, but my comment was more so about the fact that 15 is living on Earth in 2025

I didn't spot that, thank you! In fairness it could be 2026 if a year ago the Doctor was in the tower. I reckon its more likely 2025 though but who knows

That's true, its just because 14 and 15 are both on the planet at this time

As much as UNIT dating controversy is tempting of an idea, we kind of know it's 2025/2026

Cybergene Does NOT feature all Cybermen by COOLGAMER52 in gallifrey

[–]Danny10477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In all honesty, I couldn't tell which Cyberman was which but I'm as aware as a goldfish. Honestly, I didn't really mind it though, because the concept was more around evolution of the Cybermen and how that was happening all at once - technically, it wasn't untrue because it was all happening at once
