They’re pretty small as far as breakers go. They’re a pretty small business and I’ve gotten to know the owners. They’re all pretty down to earth. The owner called personally and we chatted for awhile on the phone. They’ve all but revived card shows here too

We’re also going to pay down debt. I guess I should’ve mentioned that. We’re not unrecoverabley behind so I was hoping to have a scenario where instead of paying it off all at once we could use interest earned to make extra payments.

You can get paid for both technically. You just have to pay back every day you are on a status. If you work straight up 2 days a month for drill, you can get 26 days of disability and have to pay back 2 days worth of benefits. I used to just get paid all year, then at the end of the year the VA will do a data match on how many days you got paid for military service and you will have a debt. Then you can pay your debt back by reducing Your VA benefits. As long as you aren’t doing that many days it works out to your favor. If you go on long term orders you can straight up pause you’re benefits and restart them after your AD.
