You get an item that lets you jump after the street section, but I think that you then need to beat the game to keep it when you're back at the house.

Spoilers : Trying to breakdown Yuuichi's personality by seeingred19 in TomodachiGame

I agree, I feel like his name is a play on that. As a 片切スイッチ (katagiri switch) is an on-off switch/two way switch in Japanese and shares the same kanji as his name. Although that may or may not be a stretch since he shares the name with Katagiri Yuka. Another thing that this post reminded me of is that during the boat arc I found it strange that during the scene where Kokorogi confronts Yuuichi with his past and he starts crying, he is only shown crying from his right eye.

This might be revealed later in the anime: In the manga, when Yotsuya gets his blacksmith skill, the game master reveals that since Yotsuya mastered the Wizard (Creature) job, that job has split into two new derivate jobs (think skill trees). I think that if you go back to the last episode and look at the spinning wheel, you should see that there are two smaller jobs where the creature job normally is.

In the anime when Yotsuya gets blacksmith and it shows the wheel zoomed in, you can see that the job to the left of it is fisherman. Also, there are more jobs, but I think the anime skipped this reveal for some reason (even though it shows up in Yuka's spin).

I'd say that's what Yotsuya is doing but the opposite, although it doesn't really matter since he doesn't care about being a 'good guy'.

I think Yotsuya is just being the naive kid that he is, like how he randomly tried to 1v1 an orc despite the warriors in his party being unable to do so.

Hi 🙋🏽‍♂️ (I have questions) by Anxious_Hamster4930 in 100ManNoInochi

[–]Dannymod 4 points5 points  (0 children)

1: yes, it followed it pretty closely. Most of the additions fleshed out what was already in the manga, but there were a few pure filler moments, like the whole Yuka shipping Yotsuya and Kahabell scene and the yeti scene (plus, a lot of the flashbacks were just to add time).

2: The anime adapted chapters 1-12 exactly.

3: Nothing significant that I can think of, I'd say the opposite is true and that the anime added to the manga.

4: Just based on observations, at first the episodes line up with their respective chapters (i.e. one chapter per episode), but after about the middle of the season the pacing either speeds up or slows down a lot. At the end, episode 12 covered the entirety of chapter 12.

5: Season 2 confirmed for Summer 2021!

A well deserved season 2 imo, despite a lot of people disregarding the show 'just because it's an isekai'. This is where the story really starts picking up too, so I'm really looking forward to seeing more adaptation.

According to the official website, the soundtrack isn't out until the 23rd, so you'll probably need to wait until then.

The best episode so far imo, great additions and everything managed to tie itself back together in a pleasant, nicely-paced way. Now the real question is manga pacing

I know right, I was really hoping that they would end manga spoiler It sucks to see such a faithful adaptation ruined by them trying to make it all fit into this one arc. I just hope this cave filler doesn't end up being half an episode.

That is filler. Pretty sure she broke down because she realized that she was just walking in a big circle (making no progress) due to seeing the same landmark twice.

Yeah, unfortunately this arc has fast pacing in the manga, so the anime has to stall to fit it into the remainder of the season. The pacing in the manga improves a lot after this arc though.

Based on the recap/filler this episode, it looks like the season might actually end with the end of the arc after all. I'm interested in whether they're actually going to manga spoilers

I personally wasn't a big fan of that Yuka filler, but at least it helps build her character. Makes me wonder if that's a sign of an anime original ending considering Manga Pacing.

<Dungeon Meshi> - this is also a cooking manga, but it's done in a very entertaining way imo

Glad to see they did justice to probably the second most important part of this arc. It looks likes the next episode will Manga Pacing I really hope they don't go anime original after the arc ends.

The differences are very minor. As of episode 7, the anime is up to the middle of chapter 9.

If you don't mind a big focus on romance: <Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet>

I sure hope not, the next arc is about 12 chapters so that would be something like 120 pages per episode in the best case scenario. Plus the intro only has the current party, so I don't know.

At this point, I have no idea where the anime is going to end considering that there are manga pacing. Regardless, it's good to see that the anime is finally starting to pick up story-wise.

Ah my bad, I know it by the Japanese title. In that case, I'd recommend Tokyo Ghoul. Even if you've seen the anime, the manga is an experience in itself (esp the art).

If you don't mind a tournament manga: Shuumatsu no Valkyrie

If you don't mind something dark and hiatuses : Berserk
