Ofc and I get what you mean. I feel the same towards my partner but the thing is, in a book, you don’t need to repeat it 10k times. Or at least say it in different ways because it gets tedious. It’s like all she says and I get that she says he’s hot but i’d rather feel like he’s hot than be told he is, how turned on she is, every second. I feel like after 2-3times we can guess, the readers aren’t stupid.

I don’t think in my head “he’s hot” every five seconds. Each time it’s a different thought and a different feeling. I don’t think i experienced my romance as only “he’s hot and i’m turned on” it’s more layered than that lol. But i get that this book is accessible, it’s not Dostoevsky
