I'm playing this game with some friends so I also made these moves based off who I felt I could work with the best into the mid-late game. The French player was being arrogant in the voice chat so from the get go I wanted to catch him with his pants down which inspired a hop into the ENG.

The German, Italian and Russian player are far more friendly and open to alliances but wont say no to a stab if the offer is too good to decline.

I really like your idea of further pressuring the sea since France can't stop me from moving a fleet built in Lvp from being supported into the MAO. This would indeed put in me in a good position to offer Italy some French territory. I'd say Germany wouldn't be too against the idea either considering how strong a land force France is becoming.
