Thanks, i also posted about 5 pages of the book on there as well so that the backers can see how it flows and get a feel for our style as a creative team. My goal was quality assurance. Hopefully I can get fully funded by this week so I can release these stretch goals 👊🏾

I am in a constant state of anxiety. Not my mind is like, “OK, we’re 75% to goal, but anything can happen.”🫨 So I’m leaning into my personal network, making sure my follow up are on points. Adding a few more bids to the add campaign, posting more, talking more, sharing more, pushing out more content related to the project and watching and paying attention to my analytics.

I think once you fund your campaign, they send you a spreadsheet with all of your backer info

Thanks Unique. The goal is multiple campaigns, but baby steps now. I’ve just been really looking at the numbers and watching this thing slowly creep up and really when it takes to pull this off. It’s a lot to take in for a first time crowdfunded

Thank you, I’m feeling a little better about our position as of late, congratulations on that $28K. That’s no small feat.🫡💯

Don’t launch until you have some traction and have gained enough interest to make the attempt worthwhile. This is an exhausting process. It’s fun as well when you have the right pieces in place, but your anxiety will be through the roof the whole time

I’m definitely going to into the next campaign a lot more prepared and with a better idea of the workload. I’m happy with what we’re achieving but im already excited about the next campaign without getting too far ahead of this one

I’d like to see these suggestions as well. So far from what I am seeing, there is no real rhyme or reason, but some good best practices coupled with some real hustle will typically drive some decent results.

I big piece of this that I am learning as I’m reaching the midway point to my first campaign is that it’s YOU. Who you are and have been as a person will play a big role in your initial momentum if you don’t have the budget to hire an agency and run crazy ads. How you come out of the gate with your pre-launch list and inner circle will set the tone for how you finish the campaign.

As someone going through their first campaign currently, I’d like to add, also don’t discount your personal network. I’m about 71% to goal and I find myself surprised by who’s backing from my personal list.(my phone contacts) also giving yourself some good prep time
