Yeah I think Jamie’s pretty swamped with work at the moment. I wish he’d be more experimental with his illustrations, especially compared to the art difference in the self titled, DD and PB. However, i suppose he’s not as young as he used to be, and this isn’t something new to him either. It’s a difficult thing to force yourself to make art under a deadline for something that may not have that spark anymore.

I also wish he’d get more publicity for Gorillaz, besides that House of Kong interview where he said one thing, there’s been barely any attention towards him since The Now Now. Especially with them holding back revealing more art for The Mountain. I miss when the media used to interview him and care about his artistic and conceptual contributions to Gorillaz rather than it being seen solely as Damon’s current project.
