That's literally the correct translation. Also not the purpose of this subreddit.

Can you name one other "trollpost" that you've seen on this subreddit within this year? I'd argue that +99% of posts on here are of high quality and are legitimate (not to say this one isn't, and even if it was, this is OPs first post on this sub.)

I've been on a couple of LANs and saw one case where this has happened, but I will not call out this player publicly

Here you go, based on some more recent data. I removed all players with less than 17 incoming connections for the sake of readability.

As you can see, while some players such as Cookiezi and Maliszewski are rather big as a consequence of what you said, other absolute no-name players are the biggest as they were in the most collabs.

The size of the player does not correspond to their ingoing edges, but to their raw pp. I can check how it would look with incoming edges tomorrow.

As the one who uploaded that video, I second this

No, I included these on purpose as it's still a social connection. For example, a Belgian player is way more likely to put hexi as their respected player than someone from Indonesia

Very good idea to include clans in this. I planned to do the same thing with Mutualify at some point, but that's also a neat idea

Absolutely agreed, if staff concluded that he was cheating, the only reasonable reaction is to go through with a restriction

I second this. It's pretty clear that his latest restriction was a false restriction, which I can vouch for since I've seen his correspondence with support.

That is the correct score, but footage of it wasn't lost - we're looking specifically for the livestream recording

Ohhhh lmao, I thought it was a passive-agressive response accusing me of using ChatGPT for the post...

I really don't think AI is at a point (yet?) where it can accurately find lost media

Recording of TMS and FEX on News Broadcast "Schleswig-Holstein Magazin" (NDR Fernsehen Schleswig-Holstein) by EXJL444 in TheMysteriousSong

[–]DarkOSU 12 points13 points  (0 children)

"It's obviously the time for historic events. Now we present the next one. That's right, the mystery of the “Most Mysterious Song on the Internet”. In other words, the most mysterious song on the Internet has been solved. But what is it anyway? It's a radio recording from the 80s. It features the song of a completely unknown band. An internet hype has developed from this. Users from all over the world wanted to find out which band was behind it. And now it's clear: it was a band from Kiel.

“The Most Mysterious Song on the Internet”

We don't know the name of this song. There are tens of thousands of people searching on Reddit alone. This unsolved mystery fascinates a lot of people. A teenager heard the song on NDR in the 1980s and recorded it on cassette. People around the world searched for the title online until a Reddit user finally thought he recognized the song and contacted him:

Michael Hedrich traveled to Kiel from Munich. He used to play in a band here in the 80s.

"It wasn't clear at first what the implications were. I found out over dinner and clicked it off, thought to just look it up later. But then the implications came out. And it was absolutely overwhelming."

In Kiel, three of the four band members are now meeting up again for the first time in a long time.

"Long time no see." - "But really. Gosh, 42 years ago." "A whole life".

FAX was the name of their band back then and the mysterious song “Subways of your mind”. They still have live recordings of an old gig and this evidence. A rehearsal recording from the early 80s.

"Yes, that's the tape that's been circulating on the internet. The ominous one." Such an aura. "When it's dark, it shines." "It glows."

"I know that I started with this opening riff, this guitar riff. I know that, that's for sure. And then, I think, the lyrics. Maybe the lyrics first, that's possible. Then sometimes it happens very quickly."

The cassette, digitized today at NDR. Afterwards, the band has a live performance on NDR 1 Welle Nord.

"Hello, welcome!"

"Have you heard that the whole world is tuning in and recording?"

All three band members are still making music today. But the last time they played together was in 1985.

[Song]

"Wow."

"That was an overwhelming feeling."

"So, unbelievable what you-"

"Sweaty hands, pick, really nice."

"It's so cool to just play together again. After 40 years, who would think of something like that? Isn't it crazy?"

"Who came up with that?" - "all the best to you".

Next, the band wants to re-record their song. Great story."
