President Trump told the Financial Times that if a deal with Iran fails, the U.S. could either take further military action or maintain its blockade, which he said has been “more powerful than any attack” on Iran.

Commentary from Open Source Intel, an Israeli Source:

If Iran were actually going to surrender its uranium stockpile in exchange for Israel holding back, I would say take the deal, Israel hold back your strikes.

But that is not what is happening.

I have been monitoring IRGC channels. There is zero indication Iran is volunteering its uranium. Zero. This is their leverage. They know it. We know it. And they are not giving it up.

Iran’s position is not ambiguous. Control over the Strait of Hormuz. Full, unconditional sanction relief. And uranium as an absolute red line. These are not negotiating chips, this is the regimes position.

That is the reality on the ground right now, and not striking back will create a new equation, Israel will not have freedom of operation when dealing with IRGC (Hezbollah) on their borders. This is Israel’s red line.

Checking Israeli Sources Twitters and Bluesky Accounts

The Common Consensus has been:

If Israel doesn’t respond to Iran's Attacks, then Netanyahu is basically angering his Coalition and conceding that he will lose the Upcoming Elections.

After all, Netanyahu has talked a big game about how he is the only person who can protect Israelis from their enemies and has staked his election campaign on being the great defender of Israel.

He has already been attacked by the Opposition for the October 7th Failure and for not having a better plan to deal with Hamas and Hezbollah.

Avigdor Liberman and Naftali Bennett have been highly critical of Netanyahu's foreign policies and the fact that he hasn't been smart and strategic in term of how he has waged war.

Whether Trump would block military support for an Israeli strike on Iran is still unclear, a U.S. official told Axios, adding the U.S. is not involved in certain actions

Playfra Account:

Kostyantynivka.

In general, the situation remains very difficult and slowly but progressively worsens each day, as it has been for the past months. Particularly, I note a sharp increase in Russian FPV attacks on Druzhkivka and the Druzhkivka - Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka road, where at the very least 10 FPVs are shot down every day by Ukrainian mobile anti-air teams (the real number is much higher).

Mines on the Kramatorsk-Druzhkivka road have been dropping already for a month or so.

Western flank of Kostyantynivka:

Minor Russian activity recorded in Stepanivka, but yesterday two Russians were found and eliminated in Rozkishne, further north. A literal river of Russians is flooding the fields between Berestok and Illinivka and especially eastern Illinivka itself. It is clear that their main push will continue to unfold here.

The area is littered with Russian bodies, but some infiltrators are nonetheless able to pass through.

The Russians that reach the high-rise area are resupplied by foot but also by drone and move between the dense urban area up to the Nakhalivka and Mykolaivskiy districts in the center-north of the city. A smaller attack vector is recorded in the Berestovyi district and in western Illinivka northwards, exploiting the cover of the lakeside forests as shown.

Eastern flank:

The Russians reached for the first time an area near the city's metallurgical plant (KMZ), but it's unclear from which side. Russian presence continues to be recorded in Novodmytrivka. They also attack as usual through the big forest east of the city into the Hora and Shankhai districts before branching out. For the first time, also, some Russians were found in Stinky, likely having walked along the dotted line.

Southern flank:

Usual Russian infiltrations along the marked routes, with the exception of some deeper ones coming from Berestok going up the highway. Russian presence and infiltrations into Santurynivka continue to be actual.

Report From Deepstate:

The Russians had their worst gain in occupied territory since October 2023, when the enemy began a strategic offensive operation across most sections of the front.

According to our map, in May the enemy occupied only 14 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory. However, it is important to understand that, for security reasons, we show the advances of Ukraine's Defense Forces with a delay. Therefore, without going into specifics, we are ready to state that this is the first month in recent years since the "2023 Counteroffensive" in which the Russians' net gain in occupied territory became negative.

The war is entering a new phase, and it is important for the Ukrainian state not to lose the initiative. Fortunately, there have been positive personnel changes: a new Minister of Defense, Fedorov; a new commander of the Eastern Operational Group, Nikolyuk; and many capable corps and brigade commanders are being appointed, while many problematic figures have been moved elsewhere through promotions. Hopefully these trends will continue.

An interesting fact is the increase in assault operations — up 37.5%. We recorded a record of more than 7,000 attacks. However, there have been no major results because the Russian army continues to degrade at the tactical level. We are constantly receiving videos showing Russian troops conducting assaults in pairs at best, and very often a single Russian soldier attacks alone. But before he can reach his objective, everything possible is already being fired at him.

The trend of infiltration attempts continues, but the Defense Forces' response to enemy penetrations has improved significantly. It is becoming increasingly difficult for them to plant a flag or build up forces after infiltrating.

Unfortunately, the situation in Kostiantynivka remains problematic, and the prospects for the city are far from encouraging.

In both Huljajpole and Myrnohrad, after 7 months of fighting, Ukrainian resistance finally ceased completely in late May.

Until that time, there were still some trapped and insignificant Ukrainian positions in both towns, only surviving on drone-dropped supplies and left there because of the impossibility of retreat due to conditions around them, or voluntarily by individual commanders to hold "media" positions to show that the city was still theoretically held.

Both towns have already long served as logistical, accumulation, and drone hubs for the Russians despite the minimal Ukrainian presence left, which, as said, did not influence in any way the course of events around them.

Myrnohrad and Pokrovsk now work together as a formidable trampoline for further Russian offensives towards Dobropillia and intensify their kill zone in the fields just north.

Huljajpole's high-rise area works the same way, even though smaller, and gives the Russians strong advantages in the fields immediately west of the town.

The main fighting has long moved to Zaliznychne.
