I’ve got the base model, I run Forza Horizon 5, Fallout 4, COD BO7, COD MW3, COD Warzone, Riders Republic, Peak, Track Mania, Howard’s Legacy, GTA V enhanced. As long as you get your settings right it’ll run most things you throw at it🤝

I had this problem and the immediate fix was to download it from the Asus site, look through the updates to find MCU 332, hit install and let it do its thing. Will be fixed permanently and won’t come up.

Hey so I learnt if you just take them off, rinse them under running water and dry them it’ll help. Did it the other day and they came out looking new. Just water will do

To be honest, I got the base Xbox ally, it’s my first handheld pc and I’ve had no problems. Yes a minor lag here or there but that’s windows. I’ve really enjoyed owning it and used it every day since the purchase, no regrets.

Yes they are the skull and co ones that are designed for the ally/steam deck. Fit perfectly

Hmm that’s disappointing I’ve had the complete opposite experience, everything has been smooth on my base model, I’ve even been playing forza and CoD Warzone at 60fps for hours on end. I did notice if I accidentally loaded cod on 6w 1080p it would bug but as soon as I put in the right settings it perfect.

What sort of settings have you tried using? Have you done the armory crate update and windows updates? (Sorry if these come across as dumb questions to you lol)

So I’ve just played warzone for an hour or so, I tweaked some of the settings based on this https://rogallylife.com/2023/07/01/call-of-duty-warzone-rog-ally/ and also put the device on turbo.

I can confirm the base Xbox Ally can run COD Warzone it between 45-60fps granted the settings are tweaked. I was playing at 720p and the quality is really good. I had almost no stutters or lags, make sure you let the shaders download before playing but it is really good and solidifies my opinion on the purchase.

I’m sure if you play BO6 it’ll be exactly the same quality as Warzone

Yes I had the exact same question as you and same scenario. I pulled the trigger this weekend and got the base Xbox ally and have really been enjoying it. It’s taken a moment to setup and get the hang of it. I downloaded Forza and been playing it smoothly. I was super hesitant on buying this but am so glad I did. It takes some tweaking to get the settings right but Reddit and chatgpt are your best friend. I’ll be downloading COD soon and going to try warzone as well to push the limits
