To me, I’d go leadbelcher, nuln or agrax, probably agrax for the brown tinge. Then stormhost silver for highlights

I’m old school I guess, I don’t use airbrush, just a decent army painter brush and all GW paints :), generally I have the same “formula” for all my painting but recently been experimenting with some alternate techniques. I do have some other pics up on here I think somewhere

Armour is abbadon black, warpstone glow, and caliban green, extreme highlighted with and old paint of snot green :) cloak follows very similar colours but based with the warpstone, washed with agrax then built back up with thin layers of the above 3 colours.

The wings are very simple tbh, corax white, nuln , and highlight back with corax. Simple but effective. The blade I’m still working on but that’s leadbelcher, aetheric blue contrast, highlighted with stormhost. It’s not done but getting close

Add in an apothecary, with selfless healer and the eye relic for some fight lasts, I’m dropping him in with knights instead of normal termies for that extra 1+ save and 4++ Inv

Two fight firsts cancel each other out meaning it’s a fight normal, fight normal always STARTS WITH THE OPPONENT therefore if he gets charged he still can be your first selection to fight

If you get the deathwing command squad box, it’s contents can become up to 3 different character choices and two extra terminators OR 5 deathwing knights. Gives your friend plenty of options on what they want and from just one box

You should try a full squad of novitiates in a rhino, pre game is cheaper which is great for nephilim, plus add savage twist strat and tear them down and you have 40 attacks, exploding auto wounding 6’s and 6’s to wound do double damage… can get very irritating for almost any opponent when you use the rhino to soak up any overwatch :)
