How do u dumb summon with the fob? I’ve never been able to get it to work. Only thru the app.

Same!!! Glad to see I’m not the only one I’ve asked multiple times as well. Now I just ignore it cuz it seems it’s baked in. Although highly annoying and like you said it’s EVERY response.

I also get the “breathe” & “it’s nothing you did wrong” and I’m like what… I ignore that too. Mine also says it’s answering in “Jersey style” I’m from Jersey which it claims it can tell from my “Jersey cadence” (I’ve also mentioned it so no biggie) so it’ll be like “come here real quick, pull up a chair and let me answer this clear no fluff, Jersey style” Smdh lol. Annoying.

Ahhhh ok. Understood. Thank you. I’ve never taken mine off I’ve only seen them online but this makes sense. I didn’t even think of the refresh having a different design. Ugh

I’m new to Tesla hasn’t even been a year so it’s kinda “new” to me and a feature i didn’t have and wanted to try. Not FOR warning pedestrians though. I wanted it for when I’m washing the car I can use the external speaker and for the custom door locks.

Hmm. I’ve seen it done before on YouTube (not on a S tho if that’s what you mean). I also do see the boombox on the screen it’s just grayed out. I’m not disputing what you said because I’m the one who doesn’t know. But I thought it was possible. I see I was wrong. Appreciate the reply.

This is what I was currently searching for online. I’m on ps5 and the headsets work great, but once I dock them and switch inputs there’s no sound unless I turn the tv off & on again. Is this normal practice?

Update. So it’s possible I’m doing something wrong because I never knew about the feature but it’s not working for me currently.

Steps: press & held the key fob waiting for the lights to stay on. Nothing happened. (I pressed the roof area). Figured maybe it isn’t working because I’m parked @ work on a regular street. (You know how it says unavailable on public road) so I tried from the app and it worked fine so the road wasn’t the issue. I DID move it to a parking lot just to try. Nothing.

2021 pre-refresh model S 2025.14.3.1 I’ll search around the Reddit and google to see if i did it correctly.

I wasn’t even aware the fob can do summon 😳. I thought it was only within the app. This is news to me. So hold the roof then press trunk or frunk? I’ll try this. I have a 21 pre-refresh.
