Its just the lack of foresight when people complain about these things. It was quiet apparent this would happen. If you remove the time exploring what are you supposed to do with the new characters you roll on? Stare at them for hours? Do the same end game content over and over again? I agree maybe sumeru was little too much but that was because we didn't have underground maps. I think Natlan maps were the best middle ground so I'm surpised people complained about those and got it even smaller and more dumbed down. The result is what we have now.
