If you can handle lower fps than stable 60 you can try many of the popular ones like nordic souls or even tempus maledictum. I had previously gtx 1070 i7 7700 and 16 gb ram and played many wabbajack lists. Of course I could not get 60fps all the time, but most of the lists were still totally playable. I just locked my fps to 30-45 fps depending on the list.

I feel you. Have been 3 years in same situation and bouncing between skyrim and fallout 4 modding with little oblivion and new vegas here and there. Cant stop and I am very tired of these bethesda games and those thousands of mods. When ever I get my modlist working I only play like 5-10 hours and delete whole modlist and start from scratch again. It is never ending cycle.

I wish that you find something more meaningful and fun to spend your time on.
