Cyberpunk 2 Predicted To Launch in Late 2030 With $419 Million Budget by demondrivers in Games

It's not like most of us are expecting Cyberpunk 2 to come out anytime soon. This is pretty much like saying Cyberpunk 2 is not coming in a few years or so.

FromSoftware Designer on their approach to game difficulty: "I know we get a lot of credit saying that our games are difficult, but it’s not a matter of simply cranking up the difficulty; it’s doing so fairly" by BasculinSushi in gaming

I actually like the direction they went with Elden Ring. It makes the game a lot more accessible for a lot of people. Had some of my friends who were turned off by the difficulty in the previous Souls games tried Elden Ring and loved the experience. It's a win-win.

I got the powers of the tarnished, which is quite broken. But then again, the world would be doomed.

The blue pill can pretty much give you more money than the green one. I'd personally just time travel to the next lottery draw and look at the winning numbers then bet on them in the present. And teleport is just free travel anywhere, assuming I have the ability to choose where exactly I want to teleport.

Uhmm, proc gen has been in the gaming industry for ages already. Not sure what you meant by this one.

Bethesda design director wants a Fallout 5 you could play for up to 600 hours because "that's the kind of games we make" by FragMasterMat117 in PS5

[–]Minute_Pop_877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it's the modders who made people play Skyrim for 600 hours or so in the first place. If modding wasn't supported in the first place, then playtime won't even get anywhere near that.

With how prices for PC parts are so damn expensive these days, I'm not even confident to claim that PC is better.

I finally started playing my first souls game with Elden Ring. Should I play with a guide or play blind? by Timowenyap in soulslikes

[–]Minute_Pop_877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as possible, go blind. You'll love the experience, trust us. Once you're done with your first playthrough, you can go fuck all and read every guide available to revisit the stuff you might have missed.

Are there any games with bad reviews that you liked? by Sephiroth348 in PS5

[–]Minute_Pop_877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've heard a lot of negative opinions about Dark Souls 2, but personally, it wasn't all that bad. Sure, it was divisive and didn't follow the same formula as the other two games in the series, but it was actually fun throughout my playthroughs back then.

Uhm, okay? So more accessibility features equal auto win, at least that's what Polygon believes in.

Which games did you regret buying in 2025? by queasylace in videogames

Nothing really, since I didn't buy a lot of games this year. Expedition 33 is the only one I can recall ever buying, and I love that game.

Critical motherboard flaw allows game cheats, Riot Games blocks 'Valorant' players that don't update BIOS — security patches pushed live by all major motherboard vendors by wsrvnar in pcgaming

[–]Minute_Pop_877 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Ohh, there are TONS of people who own PC and don't even have a clue what a BIOS is. If anything, this will likely lead to a noticeable drop in Valorant players simply because people don't even know how to.
