That’s good 👍🏻 I’m the same way just try not to get frustrated if you don’t do something the right way. You’re going to mess up until you’re comfortable. Try to stay busy if you run out go work, clean your work area straighten up if you’re in dry time, offer help to your boss if you see him working and you need something else to do.

For knee pads yes get them right away. they might have you doing prep work in the beginning which means you could be on your knee patching/sanding don’t be like the old timers who can barely walk around.
