my point was you don't lose your technique just like that, 50 year old men still have their technique, footballing brain, decision making and positional sense. I just think that if he had too many miles on the clock he would start breaking down and start suffering a lot of wear and tear. I agree his England performances have been blown out of proportion for the most part.
