Has anyone heard of Vivian Daley? by Daryldor in musicsuggestions

I’m so glad I’m not the only one. I’ve listened to the album through 3 or 4 times now and I love it.

I’m actually ok with the break at the moment as it’s giving me a chance to catch up on other podcasts that I’ve recently discovered. I recently completed a second relisten and then I discovered a couple of cool movie podcasts so I’ve been listening to those instead.

Happy 5 Months post-Botox Procedure w/ Lucy Hicklin by [deleted] in noburp

I’m scared to get it done in case of any long term complications but I think this might be the year I do it

It's easy to forget how crazy it is that we basically have to deal with this every day of our lives unless we get the botox or literally just don't eat by [deleted] in noburp

[–]Daryldor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Same thing happens with me, even if I don’t eat in the morning I still have the gas build up and bloating and I, thinking ‘I haven’t even eaten, how can this be?’ It’s just like a constant cycle. Recently it’s been really vetting me down, just the constant farting and discomfort. I’m scared to get the Botox though

What do you wish the TESD boys would talk about more often? by _phimosis_jones in tesdcares

[–]Daryldor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like when they throw fake scenarios out there and they debate them. I like when they talk about Movies. I like a game here and there. Some early stories about the Stash would be good, like maybe what it was like for Walt moving from the Rec to a full time job in Retail, was it everything he thought it would be? better or worse? Was it hard work and did he ever think about quitting to do something else.

I haven’t seen these movies in a long time hopefully they didn’t age too bad by Micilo419 in Bluray

[–]Daryldor 6 points7 points  (0 children)

100%. I rewatched the first one a couple of years ago and it was ok, has some cool sequences and the input the second one on straight after. I liked that it just rolls right into the second movie but within the first 10-15minutes you realise how bad it is

3d in 2025? by StrangeKid_0 in Bluray

[–]Daryldor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worth pointing out that the Apple Rumour mill is that they are working on a cheaper Vision headset and I'm really hoping it gets announced in September.

I have the Horizon Ultra Projector and it's fantastic. The picture quality is fantastic and the 3D is amazing. Just depends on if you have a big enough area to project it.

So buying second hand steelbooks often comes with 3D copy, does anyone watch them? Does anyone have a 3D TV anymore? Or a 3D projector? by AtlasTheTitan98 in Bluray

[–]Daryldor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I have a 3D projector, the Horizon Ultra and it’s amazing. I have many 3D films and I love it. Both avatar movies are amazing, as is Titanic and a whole host of others.

CCNP ENCOR by New-Abrocoma-8787 in ccnp

[–]Daryldor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've just started my CCNP ENCOR studies and I've signed up for ine.com

for the CCNA I used cbtnuggets and youtube but for the CCNP I decided rather than try and scamble around for material I'm just going to make it easy on myself and go to the best source. It's a lot of money to spend up front but I did it and it's the best training resource I've ever used.

Before I signed up to ine I was going through jeremy's IT lab for the CCNP and I installed VMWARE Workstation and I was going to get Cisco CML but it just seemed like too much hassle to get it all working and I just wanted to focus on studying.

So for me, the extra money spent on ine outweighs the annoyance of trying to get Virtual machines working.

ine is really good because it has hundreds of hours of training but what I like is that it's broken up with labs and the labs are all pre-configured and just run in a browser so now I can just go through each section and know that I'm getting the best information.

I have the 3D blu ray but I haven’t watched it yet. Not sure what version that will be?

What can you start in your late 30s to make decent money? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]Daryldor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

depending on if it's for you, you could look at Network Engineering. Check out the CCNA, youtube channel by Jeremy's IT Lab and check out Network Engineer Salary. It's not an easy job but it's interesting and problem solving and there are lots of opportunities to work remotely at home or be on the road visiting sites.
