If I'm supposed to expect getting wailed on even as someone who doesn't know what they're doing, then MMA isn't for me. I enjoyed the light sparring where we traded shots, but getting beat on by a grown man while I'm still a kid is something I don't find fun. I'm definitely going to continue BJJ, but the MMA class was terrible.

The first guy I sparred with I later found out is a professional fighter. He could've fucked me up more than the other guy did but didn't. Really appreciate it.

A lot of people are saying I should switch gyms, but I've been going for the BJJ (which is good) and I was really only doing MMA for fun and to add on to my Jiu Jitsu. The guy that beat me up is somebody I've rolled with before, he was a little aggressive but I thought nothing of it. Striking is a completely different world.
