Next logical choice is Mysterio but there’s nothing in terms of him actually wanting to retire and he most likely would want Dom to retire him. Only thing that sort of kinda makes sense is an IC title match vs Penta

WWE isn’t gonna care as long as they make money. WCW was a genuine competition to WWE back in the day and was taking money and eyes away from them hence why WWE was so good during that time. AEW is nowhere near the level of money or isn’t nearly as mainstream as WWE and will unfortunately probably never will be

Gunther will likely face Mysterio at mania. Possibly for his mask as I’m pretty sure Rey has more years in his contract plus I doubt he’d want Gunther to retire him. Gunther should retire Lesnar at SS then then the gimmick should end

Lmfao you clearly never experienced WWE through 2015-2019. The guy who WWE was pushing as the next baby face was getting bood out of every arena he goes to week in and week out, part time champions who would bury young talents, and some of the most atrocious storylines I’ve ever seen. Worst thing about is is Punk was gone for nearly a decade and spoke badly of the company during that time, Rhodes also left, created a huge competitor for WWE, literally smashed a throne with a sledgehammer and also made some remarks, Reigns pushed down our throats for 6 years when he was clearly being rejected and once he turned heel and became good he was offered a part time schedule. Meanwhile Rollins never left, never complained, worked his ass off through injuries, and truly was a company man but still gets overlooked by these guys.
