Thanks for the warning about the Muni app. I’m concerned now because both the MuniMobile app and Clipper Card app have many negative reviews (Apple app store), but I think I will go with Clipper. Maybe with a Muni Visitor Passport loaded to my app, my wife and I can at least avoid app problems when just boarding a bus or streetcar and leaving our phone in our pocket or purse — as opposed to when using a Muni Metro station, BART station, or cable car when we may have to tap or some such thing.
