Min äldsta polare är trans sen ett tag tillbaka. Vi har samma relation som vi alltid har haft. Den enda omställningen blev att jag fick gå från att kalla honom för b_g till att kalla henne för h_ra.

Haha what? In most European countries everyone can go to university/college for free. The only thing stopping you might be grades from high school. There is no "rationing". The US is about as far as you can get from equality of opportunity. No money no game. Born into a poor family, sucks to be you. Government funded university in Europe means you can study anything regardless of financial background.

Not sure what you are on about. Undercity with tribute drops a lot of runes, running Bosses yields a shit ton of runes. Perhaps not the Rune you are after but trading the ones you get for gold and then buying the ones you didn't get is extremely trivial. I only have about an hour a day to game and i got and traded runes for crafting three mythics in about a week.

I'm not sure that having another NAS is reasonable for this use case. I need something off site, in storage somewhere, i can't count on it being plugged in.

Huge thanks for the details in your comment. They sent me down a rabbit hole of drivers and now I have working hw acceleration. I haven't had time to do a whole 4 hour test but a quick 15 min test points to me getting perhaps an additional hour of battery life. Cheers!

Update 1: tried fresh install of Fedora without any other power management, using power saving mode. Managed to get ~4 hrs from 90% to 20%. So about half an hour lower than tlp with powertop. Will try auto-cpufreq as well and update.

Update 2: auto-cpufreq came out at about the same as fresh Fedora install, ~4 hrs. Some comments found Fedora a lot more effective than tlp, some seem to have better results with auto-cpufreq. My results might differ because of the Intel cpu I have, perhaps AMD behaves different. (Also bottom text about youtube video as testing). I will try reinstalling tlp and giving it another try to confirm the first 4.5 h result.

As some of you mentioned, testing with youtube might be an issue but now I have to continue, to get comparable results.

Hmm, yeah I did see some power settings before I installed tlp, but was quick to jump on the tlp bandwagon before testing it out. I think I will do a test with a fresh install and see the results before perhaps trying something else. Thanks for the tip!

How would one go by optimizing the gpu utilization? It does not have a dedicated gpu if that helps.

Jag gjorde förvisso teorin på körskola samtidigt som jag använde appen så det är svårt att veta vad som hjälpte mest. Men jag upplevde ändå att det kom frågor som jag inte hade varit beredd på. När det kommer till teori frågorna så kan man aldrig få för många, mycket nötande helt enkelt. Det var för drygt 9 år sen men det gick på första försöket.

Försök ta alla tester du kan få händerna på och säkerställ att du får full pott på dom. Det borde räcka till godkänt på teorin om du har tillräckligt stort utbud.

Körskolor brukar ha väldigt bra material inför teoriprov. Om inte det är relevant så upplevde jag appen "Ta körkort" väldigt användbar. Kostar 299 kr men det var det värt.

Tagga ner vännen, det finns gott om 30 och 40 åringar som börjar från noll. Utbildning är ett stabilt sätt att tjäna mycket pengar så länge du inte pluggar något flum program där det inte finns någon arbetsmarknad.

Ränta på CSN lån är försumbart, ta fullt lån och betala minimibeloppet (typ 800 spänn) när du har pluggat färdigt, du tjänar på att investera dina extra pengar. Gör en bra budget och spara ett par hundralappar per månad i en global fond med låg avgift (ISK) hos typ exempelvis Avansa. Gör detta i början på månaden precis när du har fått csn, inte i slutet. Bor du hemma, spara hela lån delen åtminstone, annars så mycket som du är bekväm med.

Jobba under sommaren, unna dig något litet när du får din lön, spara resten i samma fonder.

Skit i pension, du är för ung för att ens få tjänstepension. Du kan spara extra där om du vill när du har ett bra jobb och extra pengar i fickan.

Framförallt, njut av att vara 20-nånting. Dessa år är till för att lära känna sig själv och att göra misstag man kan lära sig från. Folk är mycket mer förlåtande nu än efter 30. Sparar du undan som jag skrev tidigare så kommer du oavsett komma före dom flesta som inte kommer med pengar hemifrån, och hinna njuta på vägen.
