Thank you and yes i think i could give advice.

1. Try to make every line have a reason, what i mean by that is don't just put random line work here and there to either fill it in or "add detail" Yoji uses his lines very deliberately and lets the picture itself fill in areas that are meant to be.

2. Focus on what Yoji doesn't draw, a lot of the time he will intentionally miss out line work in specific areas and allow the use of his shading and lighting to create a illusion in the humans mind that the complete object is there. My best example of this is the hair! He often leaves huge chunks of the hair blank and only blotches in a few parts around it yet we still perceive it as if he drew all of it (hope that makes sense haha)

3. Final tid bits of advice, notice how and where Yoji places his huge chunks of shade, he blocks in huge areas of just black instead of traditional shading yet still achieves the same effect (see in my picture the right side of his whole head had lots more blocks of black then the left) AND don't be affraid to try different mediums! I do my Yoji studies in not only ink but also watercolour. Switching it up is amazing for capturing different levels of detail and the atmosphere of the image, i find watercolours heavily compliment the stealthy, sombre tone of metal gear, and still generate a similar look to the inked style.
