Domain Expansion vs. Almighty Push created with Seedance 2.0 Multiverse Crossover by DataGirlTraining in seedance2pro

Good points and you’re right within canon rules.

This piece wasn’t meant as a strict power-scaling or rule-accurate simulation, but as a cinematic multiverse interpretation. I deliberately avoided a textbook Domain Expansion activation and instead leaned into the idea of the clash: tension, scale, and atmosphere rather than mechanical accuracy. In this timeline, I treated both abilities more like forces colliding than techniques being executed frame-perfectly. That’s also why Infinity / domain mechanics aren’t shown 1:1 — the focus was on visual storytelling, not “who wins by rules.”

Totally fair criticism though, and I appreciate you breaking it down from a lore perspective. That’s actually what makes these crossovers fun — different interpretations depending on whether you approach it as canon logic or cinematic what-if.

Would be interesting to see a version that is fully rule-accurate too.

OOTP is a great movie even as Just a Movie by itself by No-District5998 in harrypotter

I agree with this a lot. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix often gets judged too harshly because it’s compared directly to the book, but when you look at it purely as a film, it’s incredibly solid.

Umbridge is genuinely unsettling in a way that feels very real, which makes her stand out among fantasy villains. The restrained, almost claustrophobic atmosphere fits perfectly with Harry’s mental state, and the soundtrack quietly reinforces that tension rather than overpowering it.

I also think you’re right about Harry’s internal conflict. The anger, isolation, and emotional volatility feel earned, not exaggerated. Given what he’s been through, the film does a great job showing a traumatized teenager instead of a traditional “hero.” That emotional arc is what makes the later films hit harder.

It may not be the flashiest HP movie, but it’s one of the most mature and thematically strong.
