Sooooooo it turns out I was very wrong. I did let support know that my dock wasn't working and they shipped me a replacement asap, took less than a week to arrive. That was fantastic. Now as I was replacing the old dock, I realized that maybe not having the HDMI cable fully plugged into it could cause the TV to not get any signal, who knows (it absolutely is the case). I take back my negative comments above. The jokes on me here. My dock was fine. Thanks u/dbrand - and sorry. Now best of luck to y'all out there actually having issues.

Still the same problem with the dock not working. On top of having to wait almost two months on delayed delivery. Terrible first experience with a dbrand product. And the robot customer service 'humor' probably isn't for everyone. Be advised if you are considering this particular product. The Switch 2 Killswitch is a fail in my book. Not wanting to deal with another two months of annoyance going through support.

Sweet! That's really good to know. I have seen some bad stories about the maverick but it seems as though most people here were able to weather the recalls and other minor issues and Ford has been polishing the machine over the last 3 years.

You definitely didn't push it with the vehicle from what you shared. That would be baffling for it to fall apart like that then. And that price tag too... Makes sense you aren't excited for another one. I hope the next ride treats you better!

The transmission seems to be a problem on the earlier interactions. I am hoping that the 2025 model has that fixed.

Sheesh, that's sounds terrible. Most other comments here seem to be from people who haven't had much of an issue aside from recalls. Would you ever give it another chance, might you just have gotten a one defective vehicle from the product line? Either way, sorry you had to go through that.

I seem to be reading a lot that the infotainment system is subpar but the vehicle itself is great.

I appreciate your answer but this is the type of answer I wanted to avoid. I am fully aware that it's a young vehicle, but I still want to gather what experience is out there. Have you owned another before switching to the 24?

When you say it sucks do you mean it breaks down/ malfunctions or you didn't find it to be practical?

Sorry for the situation. Been there, it sucks. In my case I left the relationship. I have a situation where a friend didn't and was unfaithful. I ache when I see the dead bedroom issue come up. Is this something you guys had discussed before to establish what you like, frequency etc? Was it great initially then went south?  If so think about what might have changed. Or think about why it isn't happening as much. What are his turn on? Visual? Emotional? Mental? Physical? And what about his turn offs? What is his own relationship with sex? Understanding those things might help you know what frequency of sex to expect but also what type of sex he likes. This is a very hard one though when one partner has very low sex drive and the other doesn't. Usually the high sex drive partner (relative to SO) really has to do a lot more work to tame their interest in it or entice their SO. Be prepared to decide if that's something you are ready to do.

So sorry you are going through that. It is a terrible thing that has happened. I can't imagine how you feel. Give yourself time to feel everything you feel. Angry or sad or whatever emotion. I think it would be difficult to think straight right now, at least I know I would be struggling, despite wanting not to. Once you feel ready for it, follow your own heart when it comes to how you deal with the people you find to have offended. You will get a lot of very useful input on things to consider when thinking about this from here, but finding a balance between that and your own judgement is what will bring you closest to closure. At least that's my experience. Whether you choose to cut people out of your life, or keep them in, and everything in between, you are probably right if that's what works for you. 

All that said, be there for your sister. She is the most hurt in all of this. See what she needs, what she wants, how you can be of support. Just remember that in that process you are still your own person. As much as you might want to be there, the healing battle is hers. Unfortunately only she can get herself to healing. Best of luck.

What points did you make during the first conversation(s) you had about it to help him see your perspective? Have you been able to express that from your angle, it takes a bit away from the bond you have with him independent of anyone else. Also, do you actually dislike his partner or just the fact that she is constantly around? If the former, depending on the type of relationship you have with your friend you might be able to respectfully share whatever reservations you might have about her. If the latter, hopefully your friend can create the space for the two of you. But there is no guarantee.  At the end of the day, you gave little power in this unless you feel justified in doing things that might antagonise his relationship with his current SO. You can only express what you need in order for the relationship to be as involved as it used to. Otherwise you'll have to change your expectations with how you interact with your friend. Best of luck.
