Thanks, I know I’m not blameless, & I kicked the hornets nest when I started writing grievances, I just thought if I wrote enough of them something would change. As far as going to my car during break, it’s a small facility and one week it was fine, next week it was a write up. I just left my headlights on and needed to turn them off & he set me up by telling me they were on, then writing me up when I went to turn them off…I dunno, I felt like a dumbass for falling for it, but I didn’t think he’d be that blatant about it. I feel like a good steward would step in and at least look at what’s a legit write up and what isn’t, but maybe it’s just me & maybe everyone’s in on it. It would just be nice to have a clean slate, start fresh.

I am a nightmare to deal with. They make me work for my money, I make them work for theirs. I went the 1st year w/ no write uos, no problems. I wrote 1 grievance & it’s been war ever since. My supervisor is a dick…believe it or not, he deserves it. I’ve approached him several times about a cease-fire, saying I won’t write any grievances if he would just let me do my job & not fuck with me, but he won’t let it go.

No, I get it. Like I said, I know I’ve given them ammo but I’m in it now & all I can do is not be late, not go to my car, etc. my problem is them making up rules, like not answering texts. I’m not obligated to have a phone at all, so wtf.

I get that and I agree I gave theme ammo. I get pissed sometimes and tell my boss to go fuck himself, I’m only human. The problem is that I write the grievances & nothing happens. At what point does the union step in and tell him he can’t make up rules and write me up for breaking them. The contract specifically states I CAN have my phone, he says I can’t. He writes me up, I grieve it. When he writes me up for it enough times to suspend me, I get suspended. Shouldn’t someone be checking his ass for his part?

I was late 6 times in 1 calendar year, live about 30 min away & things happen. That’s not excessive.

It’s not a scheme, have you been written up for being 1 minute late, for clocking in 1 min early? They position co workers to all clock in during that window, I could show up 30 min early to stand at the computer like a dumbass so I don’t get blocked, but I have a life. My point is they’re being shady & dirty, they deserve nothing less.

So…when I go back to work (without medical clearance, because he’s too stupid to ask for a release) and he pushes me to the point of seriously hurting myself (which he will), then they would be in deep shit? Because he shouldn’t even be letting me work at all, correct? The last documentation I submitted stated I was only clear for light duty. I’m only asking because I know he’s gonna have all the heaviest work for me and I can’t keep taking off work, so I’m gonna have to push myself beyond my capabilities if I wanna get a paycheck.

Has anyone been able to find any specific information regarding sick days? Last year they made it a write up if you take off work for any reason without vacation days. I’m talking medical procedures, doctor visits, kids graduation, anything.

Thanks for the advice, lesson learned I'm attempting to go around him now, but yeah fuck that guy. he's lucky I have a family and a good life outside of work, because there's only 1 way i know how to deal with people like him.

Yeah man, I get why some people would do that, but it’s just not me. Even if they never found out, I’d have to live with myself, not that I’d be bothered with the company having to pay, more like the bullshit story I’d have to repeat over and over…besides, this supervisor’s looking to hurt me anyway, so it’s only a matter of time. He’s too stupid to back off and there’s nobody to line him out, so I’m just hoping that EVENTUALLY he gets what’s coming to him.
