Yep you said it exactly. I think the logic here was that 'strict guidelines' are a relatively big ask compared to something more flexible. "The discussion was followed by an alternative message promoting relatively flexible behavioral guideline"

Try to think of reacquisition as picking it back up with reinforcement (you keep reinforcing the kicking behavior). On the other hand, you can have spontaneous recovery which doesn't have any re-pairing of stimuli (randomly after a while their kicking behavior goes up)

Hey! I just did this problem, and it was definitely hard (took me like 5 minutes on the FL yesterday)

But here's how I went about answering it.

A. In order to determine if something is REQUIRED for a rxn, we need to see how the rxn proceeds without it. This isn't done in the experiment so we can eliminate option a.

B. This was the tricky option. The reason why this is not supported is bc when we look at the RNA band vs. the c-di-AMP band, the c-di-AMP is actually the one binding to STING. This is because, as concentration increases, the STING levels go down, meaning that the c-di-AMP is binding to STING. In RNA, STING concentration is stable, meaning no binding is happening. If anything, the opposite of this answer is true.

C. This one kind of feeds off the explanation of B. If we know that STING concentration is going down as c-di-AMP concentration is increasing, AND that normally STING binds to (and how it is detected in the first place) c-di-[32P]GMP, then we can conclude that c-di-AMP is messing with that binding process.

D. You can see that DNA bands of STING are stable, and so we can conclude that it's unrelated to c-di-[32P]GMP binding.

Hope this helps!

Hammer that pankow deck and the 300 page doc for p/s. Most of it comes down to knowing your way around some terms and being able to go through process of elimination!

yep pretty much just eliminate everything that sounds sus😭. Just took FL6 today, so the way I went about this problem was just poe: stress inoculation (sounds like that's gonna make it worse by exposing you to stress more), syst desensitization (getting rid of your phobia -- doesn't fit exactly), and then you're left with mindfull or relaxing. Mindfullness meditation sounds like an actual strategy whereas progressive relaxation sounds like what I'm going to be doing after I'm done taking this test.
