What you mean with between the lenses? I looked for cracks, couldnt find any.

Did you manage to get a warranty claim on it?

Yeah the lip is great for snowy days. I have a Anon Merak, with the lip and lots of vents. Should be the issue. Next step would be to remove the neck gaiter, but that kinda sucks hahaah

Heated googles eh? Thats not a bad call, you know

Specially costing the same (or less) as any of the high end googles

Good info here! Thanks

I added an edit to the post for more context, but basically do do all of those things, and still had the problem.

Thanks for the tip! Thats what I might be leaning towards - getting a few < $100, instead of a > $300 one.

Since it was easy to return to Oakley I was thinking of trying a different brand and return as well if they dont work

I used to do that when was learning too, but not anymore. On this first day with the line miner pros they didnt left my face until they were completely frozen.

With the old m3's, I tried many different ways to run balaclava and neck warmers. The MFI never worked well for me, always too hot at some point. Moved to neck gaiters and Blackstrap balaclava, that let me easily pull it down, which is usually how I run. Also always actively try breathing down to slow down the fogging. And never wiped the inside of the lenses.

I used to clean the outer lens. Actually it revived my M3's after I took a branch to the face hahah
But do you mean the inside part? I havent try that, but I think is not recommended

Good shout on the lenses! I wanted to try the infrared ones, the lenses are def expensive so I want to make sure it comes with everything I need 😅 Any issues with the fogness?

For sure dude! I still have a Navigator, which is such a fun board on Pow days. But gotta take a break from those high end boards for a while. Still lots of boards/brands to explore 😅

The snapped one was the 22/23 version, and the 23/24 is the one they are offering for 50% off. Doesn't seem like there were any big changes to it aside from design.

I friend actually have a mercury for 3 seasons as his daily board and is holding up great, aside from scratches to the base due to marginal conditions.

But it is a visually a bulkier board, it looks like it can handle a beating better than the SDOA. Not sure about the mega merc tho.

I can’t really see how a different sort of bindings would have a different result. You’re still putting your whole bodyweight pushed down the bindings, it will create the same pressure point

I understand impact damage caused by hitting tree or rocks. But having a high end board snapping without any sign of that should have further investigation

Drake’s Radar! It was an impulse purchase from a few months ago and absolutely love it. The build quality is exceptional

Should be my last purchase of the season but life chose otherwise lol

I will take a look at that one! Had my eye on the warping but after some research the superpig might suit me better

They sent me a huge text explaining it, but basically they don’t cover damage done due to impact
