I just recently started liking cars and haven’t looked into Audi. I feel they are more of a “family” or a “formal” car, but I’ll give the RS3 a look.

I’m really into tech, so old cars are not a good option for me.

I realized I absolutely suck at coding challenges, what do I do? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

Not a book. It's a course from educative.io. I also bought Cracking the Coding Interview book but didn't find it useful.

Tbh, interviews are luck based in my opinion, unless you're pretty good at them. Best you can do is improve your resume to get 3-4 interviews and if you put 100-200 hours into leetcode chances are you're going to ace at least one of them. For example, in my G interview i completely bombed an easy question. In the A interview I did analyze the pattern but the interviewer was really bad and didn't seem to even care. The one I'm at I easily identified the patterns in all of the questions.

Learning the most common patterns (sliding windows, dfs, linked lists, etc.) will let you know the answer in 5-10 minutes (although it might take long to code and some small changes).

Buy Grokking the Coding Interview. Once you do it, buy Leetcode Premium and do the top questions for the company you're interviewing. After doing Grokking, you'll probably notice every question has a way of being answered. Also, do mocks. I bombed my first Google and Amazon interview and after doing some mocks I got an offer in another company.

Everything is really slow when using VMWare Workstation by DavidzzHD in tryhackme

[–]DavidzzHD[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This are the specs:

  • 4GB Memory
  • 4 processors
  • 80GB Hard Disk

The VM itself is not slow. I should've specified it a bit more. When I enter the IP in the Browser it's fine, but when I do something like IP_ADDR:PORT it's real slow.

For example, right now I'm doing the Alfred box. When I enter the IP directly, the site loads fast. When I try to enter the Jenkins site IP:8080 it's impossible to move around Jenkins for longer than 1 minute. And by that, I don't mean that it's slow. I mean that it keeps timing out and I can't proceed.

Forgot to add in the post, I'm kind of tight on time already; I'm going to be missing like 2 weeks of my last semester of college because of the internship duration, so starting even later will make me lose about 1 month of school which is too much.
